We believe in our product offering and we believe you should enjoy using them without hassles and headaches. That's why we've got your back!

The warranty term that comes included with your purchase is listed on the product page.

WHEN THINGS GO WRONG.

We've earned our reputation for designing some of the most durable lighting in the game. On the rare occasion that one of our products fails, our policy is as follows:

  • You may be entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund for a major fault.
  • If the fault is minor and can be repaired within a reasonable time, it is at the HIBANA's discretion to either repair, replace or refund.
  • If the fault is major and cannot be repaired within a reasonable time, the buyer has the option to choose a refund, repair, or replacement.

WE ARE HERE TO TROUBLESHOOT – ANYTIME.

In the event you suspect your item may be faulty, we encourage you to reach out to Technical Support as a first step, either by email or by calling us on 03 8360 9261.  More often than not, our team may be able to diagnose, resolve or confirm your issue over the phone.

Please do not engage any third party to diagnose or repair your item unless otherwise directed by HIBANA.

 

CONDITIONS OF WARRANTY.

Our warranty applies to manufacturing or design defects only.

The warranty does not apply when.

  • The item has been subject to misuse, alterations, neglect, negligence, damage or accident.
  • The item has not been installed in accordance with the instructions.
  • If the item has not been installed in line with the vehicle or equipment manufacturer's recommendations.
  • Used with power supplies outside of the minimum & maximum voltage range and type.
  • If evidence is found of unauthorised repair, disassembly, or modification.
  • In the event your product is replaced, it will only be replaced with an identical product. We strictly do not offer an option to upgrade to an alternate product.
  • Warranty applies to product only, any cost associated with original fitment, removal/replacement or diagnostics is not covered.
  • HIBANA must receive a faulty product back before processing a warranty replacement item to be dispatched.
  • The warranty period commences strictly from the date of original purchase. Warranty replacements carry the remaining time of the original warranty.
  • Wiring harnesses and related accessories carry a 60-day warranty to protect from manufacturer defects, this warranty is only valid for unmodified harnesses. Proper maintenance of the harness is the responsibility of the customer, as any corrosion can create a high resistance point and needs to be checked regularly.
  • All warranties are strictly non-transferable and apply only to the original purchaser of the product.

2 YEAR WARRANTY

0 to 1 Year:  Defective product is either repaired or replaced as determined by HIBANA. Return shipping, parts covered by HIBANA

1 to 2 years: Products determine to have manufacturers faults are strictly repaired only. All parts and return shipping are covered by HIBANA.

5 YEAR WARRANTY

0 to 1 Year:  Defective product is either repaired or replaced as determined by HIBANA. Return shipping, parts and HIBANA's labour covered by HIBANA

1 to 2 years: Products determine to have manufacturers faults are strictly repaired only. All parts and return shipping are covered by HIBANA.

2 to 5 years:  Products determine to have manufacturers' faults are strictly repaired only. All parts, labour covered by HIBANA and return shipping are covered by the Buyer.

COSMETIC WEAR & TEAR

Our Warranty does not cover cosmetic wear and tear on the product, including the coatings. Never use a caustic or petroleum base cleaner on any surface of the light; this may cause the failure of the lenses and seals and reduce clarity resulting in a reduction of light output and damage to the powder coating.

Surface Coatings: Our products use the highest-grade polyester UV rated powder coat.  Our powder process has been proven to be incredibly durable during normal environmental exposure. We will not cover paint finish damage because of chemical exposure, our high salinity is present in some extreme environments.

Lens damage: The lens material used on our products is used by the most respected brand in our industry. Please be aware that the chemicals below will cause polycarbonate to turn brittle, and or yellow.

Some of these chemicals can be found in abrasive car and heavy machinery washing solutions. Well-known products like Rain-X & Amor All contain many prohibited chemicals. We strongly recommend avoiding any products containing these chemicals as damage because of chemical exposure will not be covered.
